Baby Sign Language Help
If this is your first experience signing with your baby then remember these 3 simple things and prepare to be amazed!
Be Consistent
Repeat the same signs often
Most parents first get interested in baby sign language because that want to understand the needs of their baby. This is perfectly normal. Therefore, most parents start with needs based signs, things like milk, sleep, eat. Make sure you always use the same sign for the same object and repeat that sign every opportunity you get. It should become a natural reaction for you to both sign and speak the word to your baby.
Be Patient
Don’t Demand Perfection

Your baby will not start signing overnight. There is no average time for how quickly a baby picks up sign language. So be patient. When a baby starts to sign, then will not always get it right, but make sure you encourage and congratulate them for trying. Always respond with a smile, be happy and shower them with praise when they do the sign correctly. Don’t demand perfection, you baby will learn faster if they think it’s fun.
Have Fun
And be prepared to be amazed
Baby sign language is a beautiful and for filling experience for both you and your baby. Make sure you enjoy yourself, and be prepared to be amazed at the results. Remember to have fun.
